Description:

Flour mill
ADM flour mill

Borton designed and constructed the new grain storage facility for this major east coast flour mill. The project consisted of (12) 24’-0” diameter silos built to a height of 120’-0” for 500,000 bushel capacity.

Borton installed the rail receiving equipment, the grain cleaner, and all grain handling machinery.

During the construction of the 12 silos, Borton millwright crew installed the flour mill equipment in the new flour mill (pictured at left). This work included the installation of the milling, sifting, grading, and packaging equipment.

Borton is America’s premier slipform contractor, and we provide many other services to our customers. The project for ADM Milling utilized our expertise in slipform construction along with machinery and equipment installation.
