Description:
This
project was to construct a 150-ton per day swine feed mill
for a joint venture Mexican corporation. Borton was
involved
in the design and construction management of the facility.

Primarily
Borton performed all of the mill design and supplied an on-site
construction supervisor to oversee the project.

Borton
personnel were involved in numerous
trips to Mexico to consult with the owners
regarding the letting of contracts to Mexican contractors,
and to advise on the
installation of U.S. manufactured equipment. The Borton electrical
engineering department
was a major consultant for the automated control system and
the power systems.
