Description:
Borton provided a complete engineering construction service
to WESH-TV and furnished a turnkey structure ready for their
technicians to install transmission dishes, cable, and tie
into their transmitters. Structure consisted of a triangular-shaped
tower with 19’0” sides, 220’-0” high of slipform construction
using architectural white concrete. Tower is supported by
forty-five 18” diameter auger cast-in-place piles.
