Borton was contracted to construct a 24’ diameter silo inside
a 47’ diameter silo, with 11 outer divider walls, all slip-formed
to a height of 129’. The project included a 7,000-pound lift
elevator, a combination rail-receiving pit and elevator, and
a combination cullet and elevator pit.
