Description:
Phase I was a 10,000 bph capacity elevator consisting
of 8 silos, each 19’ x 140’ with 3 star bins, 2 overhead bins,
and 4 overhead driveway bins, control room with pelleting
floor above, reclaim tunnel, truck receiving pit, boot pit,
and 17’ x 26’ x 43’ headhouse with partial separator and aspirator
floor. The project included all mechanical systems. Capacity:
338,150 bushels (9,200 metric tons).
Phase
II was designed and the mechanical systems installed
for complete tie-in with Phase I. The second phase included
6 silos, each 40’ x 140’, with bin sweeps and 2 star bins
with 9/12 hopper fill. Capacity: 972,764 bushels (26,500 metric
tons).
